When Lucy died, we talked about the unique experience we have had as a family living with mental illness and now surviving suicide. Many families are experiencing the same. We are proud of the tireless work we did to help Lucy during her years of struggle. We understand the mental health system. We are learning about the process of grieving the loss of a child and sibling to suicide. The only possible way we can carry on in the midst of such deep pain is to serve others. We know there are many worthy organizations to support.
